Spinal Stenosis

In 2002 I had back surgery for spinal stenosis, which afterwards my legs hips, and buttocks really started hurting. I went to a spine care doctor in Minn. He told me I have a spine disease, which can’t be stopped. I have since gotten much worse. The doctors have sent me to try shots in my spine - they didn’t work. I have nerve damage and the doc’s now have put me on Oxycodone 10mgs, 6pills a day. At least they help a little but I am in pain 24-7. My pills are very expensive and I do not have drug coverage. Also my husband is diabetic and has high blood pressure which he takes pills for. Needless to say we have to outlay a lot of money each for these meds each month. I am on SS disability and do not get Medicare yet. My husband is on SS and only allowed to make a certain amount of money till he turns 65. I will be going to see another neurosurgeon next month in hopes that something new in this field has been discovered that will help me. If you can help in the cost of our drugs it will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

i hear a lot of horror stories about spine surgery…kind of worrisome. if anyone wants some nonsurgical treatments for their spinal conditions, they should try http://www.spineuniverse.com/displayarticle.php/article3501.html
