Mother Comes First
My husband is self-employed and has been financially responsible for his elderly mother with Parkinson’s disease. Because of his financial responsibility for his mother, he could no longer afford the cost of his own individual health insurance plan. He has some health issues that require regular medications, but hesitates to get refills due to the cost. Because of this, he sometimes tries to get through a month without them, or he has to decide which bills have to wait. Any help with the cost of his medications would be a blessing.
