My Story: Breast Implant
I am a breast cancer survivor (so far). I had a mastectomy and reconstruction. I was told that I would look and feel normal after a recovery period. I have found that not to be true. I am grateful for the surgery, but am left with a painful breast implant; it feels like it is strapped tightly around my ribcage. This condition is livable, but I think people should be told the truth when talking to the plastic surgeon. Implants are NOT just like a real breast!
