From Allergies, Eczema, And Asthma To Healing!
My name is Aricia P.. My daughter Aricia-Susan was a healthy baby at first. Then around 1 year old she became allergic to everything; dog, grass, basic food like eggs, and milk. She was basically a bubble child. On top of all that, she had bad eczema and then asthma and was put on Albuterol and Flovent. Then, January 2005 she was hospitalized for the fifth time, and given a bleak prognosis. I almost died along with her that night. The sadness was unbearable. All I could think about was my daughter dying.
My husband came to the hospital after work to relieve me and I went home to pick up some things so that I could stay with my daughter. I got home and all I could see was the crucifix of Jesus looking down on me. I fell to my knees and beg the Lord to help me. I asked for forgiveness of all my sins and begged for the health of my daughter. I don’t remember how long I knelt there.
I felt an incredible peace that came over me. When I returned to the hospital that night, my daughter had improved drastically! Then the next weekend, I received a job offer to Jackson, MS. After some research, the job seemed like a great opportunity. My husband sought to relocate and sure enough he found it! Everything was a piece of cake! It seemed as if there were no obstacles! Nothing!!!!
Then in February 2005, we made the move. Our daughter had a 100% recovery. She eats what she wants, she plays outside quite cheerfully and our 14-year-old Pomeranian is back with us after a 4 month separation. In addition to that she is off Flovent and takes Singular instead. We did, however, realize that our daughter is deathly allergic to mold and as you all know, New Orleans climate is conducive to its growth. As a matter of fact, when we visit our families in New Orleans , our daughter gets sick . We have to limit our visits.
I believe that my Jesus had everything to do with our present success. I wanted to share my story with all of you because Jesus is my answer. Jesus solved every problem we were facing, not just our daughter’s health, but our financial as well. And so here we are now in Jackson Ms. We escaped Katrina, we are all doing well all because of Jesus.
