Migraine Triggers

I had severe migraines that would last for 3 days in a row and would often come with my cycle. I would sometimes get these migraines a couple of times a month. I now will only have one every once in a while and it is not strong migraines like the others were. Over about 4 years I changed things and this is what I did:

Quit coffee
Changed milk to soymilk
Got off birth control (huge difference, I originally got on the birth control to regulate them and it helped but I think the hormones began to store in my system or something over a long time and when I stopped taking them I slowly saw a huge difference.)

I eat more fish and nuts, dried apricots, black strap molasses and lots of water. I do not eat as much cheese, nitrates found in lunchmeat and other migraine triggers found in the book, “The Mayo Clinic Book On Migraines”. I also take yoga classes now at least once a week. Much happier,
