Hemangioma Treatment
My daughter was born with a large facial hemangioma. She was treated successfully at Children’s Hospital in Philadelphia in the plastic surgery clinic. She took high doses of prednisone and received multiple laser surgeries over the first year of her life. She was one of the first children treated under this protocol. We were so afraid both to treat and not to treat. Ultimately, she is healthy, happy, has full vision in both eyes and is beautiful!
