When you think it couldn’t get any worse.
I, a 55 year female was in a job related accident, a 18 wheel rollover. I was in training, the trainer rolled the truck). My employer was based in Arkansas — a state that doesn\’t allow you to sue your employer of wrong doing. I found out this driver had a history of accidents. The company paid the medical bills for one year and with no warning and while still in recovery under Medical Care, the company stopped all benefits. Yes, it is a legal manouver for most employers.
Its a miracle I survived the accident.
It didn\’t stop there. One month later I was told I had breast cancer and under-gone a double mascectomy. Now I am unable to work and have no Health Insurance. I am considered a high risk and can\’t afford Ins.>
