In 2005 I suffered a leg injury. At the suggestion of my physician I started a weight loss plan. For 6 months I struggled and tried different diets. After reading about the South Beach Diet, I decided this could be something I could live with. I lost 42 pounds in 6 months. Now more that a year later I have kept off the weight. To me the South Beach Diet is not a diet, but a lifestyle.

Well said, South Beach and exercise will help people lose a lot of weight.
