Life Changes
For 35 years of our marriage my husband has rarely been to see a doctor much less need medicine on a daily basis. On Dec. 19, I had to take him to the ER because he was having seizures. After 4 days in ICU, he was released. He is now taking 4 Insulin shots every day, three medicines for high blood pressure, and one for seizures. We had no ideal he was diabetic, his blood count was 1295, Yes that is typed right 1295, it should have been 80-to 100. The staff said they had never seen anyone with that high of blood sugar count. Now after being self employed he is unable to work, and his medicine is costing over $500 a month. I have always worked beside him and am unemployed also, so when I found this I have a ray of hope that someone will help us with the high cost of medicine that we are not having to deal with on a daily basis.
