Diabetic Needs A Little Help

Saturday, September 30th, 2006

I’m a diabetic that doesn’t have any insurance and I don’t have enough money to get insurance for what I need it for. It costs a lot of money whenever I need new test strips, insulin, needles, etc. It would help out a lot if I could get free stuff or even discounted prices.

Avinza To The Rescue

Saturday, September 30th, 2006

In September of 2005 I had a sudden re-occurrence of some previous medical conditions including Fibromyalgia, Degenerative Disc Disease, Disc Herniation c5-6, Thoracic Outlet Syndrome, and Sciatica. I had been prescribed Oxycodone but was having to take it up to 6 times a day. I went to my family doctor and explained my situation and he said let’s try Avinza. I was elated at the result of Avinza. I only have to take it once a day, and I rarely have to take the Oxycodone, which I was using for break-through pain. I recommend Avinza to everyone I know that have similar problems as my own.

Heart Ache in Missouri

Saturday, September 30th, 2006

Recently I have had a triple by-pass and a defibrillator put in. You can imagine how these procedures have altered my life. Due to the rising cost of prescriptions, it is nearly impossible to buy the medicines needed. I recently moved to be closer to my children and grandchildren. Knowing what I do now, life is short and should not be taken for granted. Spend what time you have and enjoy what and who you have around.

Can’t Afford Medicine

Saturday, September 30th, 2006

I am a 60 year old mom. I am working but due to the high cost of medicines I can’t afford them half the time. I am a diabetic with heart problems. I have already had one heart attack. I have high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and hypothyroidism. I have lost 60 lbs. in the last year and have my diabetic under control. Right now I am out of 5 of the 8 medications that I am supposed to be taking. I really pray I can qualify for this program

Medicine is Truly Expensive!

Saturday, September 30th, 2006

I have worked all my life and always had group health insurance. Recently I was downsized from my job and am now learning how expensive medicine really is. I have been shopping for individual insurance that was affordable on a small fixed income. My son has ADD and needs his medicine whether I’m employed or not - it is a necessity. Hopefully, this will qualify me for this card.
