Carpal Tunnel

Thursday, November 30th, 2006

I suffered from carpal tunnel for years. I finally had surgery on both hands (one at a time) and wish I had done it years ago. The surgery is simple and effective. I can’t believe the difference it has made in my life. I can read the paper or a book without shaking out my hands, and I’m free from the pain I experienced at night.

Trying To Stay Well And Pay For Medications

Thursday, November 30th, 2006

I was recently approved for disability benefits from social security. Now that I am approved I believe I will no longer be eligible for the program assisting me with paying for badly needed medications. At this time I am needing oxygen and having difficulty in paying for and finding someone to assist me. Nowadays it is just so hard to stay well when you have problems paying for your medicine.

Retired in Connecticut

Thursday, November 30th, 2006

To retire in Fairfield County takes a lot of money. Paying for drugs that get knocked off the list every October when your insurance has a re-arrangement of your plan is not working for me. That is why I want to apply for a discount prescription card.

Insurance

Thursday, November 30th, 2006

I have been laid off for the past couple months and I have recently lost my insurance coverage. My school loans have also entered repayment so it has been difficult for me. My monthly prescription has more than tripled in price since I lost my insurance.
