Restless Leg Syndrome

Thursday, November 30th, 2006

They say they don’t really know what “causes” RLS, but they have some ideas. It could be caused by a virus or a bacteria. I have RLS. I relate mine to side effects of long term antibiotic use. I had a “simple” hernia surgery. I then had complications from it. I ended up with MRSA, which is a very bad staph infection. I was put on several medications for pain. I also was diagnosed with peripheral neuropathy. I am not diabetic. There again, I blame it on the MRSA and side effects. I was on Mirapex and Klonopin at night. I didn’t want the Klonopin because of it being a Benzo. I weaned myself off of those two drugs. I am a nurse. I don’t recommend anyone else to stop taking meds without their MD approval, which I had. I am now taking Requip. What a difference that makes!
I can sleep all night without having to get up and walk because my legs are hurting. I work in a Treatment Center and recommended Requip to several clients with RLS. They too, say it makes a world of difference.

My World Caved In

Thursday, November 30th, 2006

After the passing of my mom, I fell flat on my face, awaking two days later in the hospital, only to find out that I was barely alive. After a three month stay in the hospital, of which nearly two months were on a ventilator, I’m now totally disabled at the age of 40 with a long list of health problems, heart, liver, kidney, lunges, diabetes, hypertension, just to name a few. But through all of this I’m still blessed to be alive.

No Insurance

Wednesday, November 29th, 2006

My birthday is October 14th, 1984. My parents and I thought I would be covered until I am out of college. So as of November 14th I am not covered. So I need to take my Zoloft. So I need some help because I am still in school. I don’t have a job with insurance. So it is a hard time for me right now.

Wednesday, November 29th, 2006

I was looking for a free prescription card. I kept looking and looking but could not find any thing. Then I typed Wal-Mart Pharmacy the king of cheap customer. It took me to this site and here I am writing this story about cheap Wal-Mart who sucks blood out of everyone to give you cheap products. I like this monster.

Expensive Meds

Wednesday, November 29th, 2006

My medicines are too expensive for me to afford, but if I don’t take them, I could eventually die.
I take asthma medication and heart medication and also have had thyroid surgery and take a pill every day for that as well. My husband is disabled; I have 2 small children and work 2 jobs just to pay the minimums on all the bills. They have repossessed my car and turned my phone off just so I can keep my lights on and food on the table for my family. I’m just looking for cheaper medications.
Thanks.
